The album is fantastic but their 'influences' are a little less cleverly disguised on their second effort. Elton John's melody from "I'm Still Standing," Bananarama's "True Confessions" opening and the Bee Gees trumpets and synths from the chorus of 'Grease' can be practically heard verbatim in two separate tracks (She's My Man, Kiss You Off and Lights, respectively).

It's still fucking great fun, though. Glad some music that I enjoy is finally being released and it's 100000% better than most anything else out there, IMHO.

I knew the SS were getting well known when I heard "Don't Feel Like Dancin'" on the overhead at a outlet mall. There I was, shakin my groovy in the discounted books section.
